Munich, Germany. February 19th 2021 – DriveLock, a leading global provider of IT and data security solutions, announced its new Release 2020.2 with multiple additions and enhancements to its Zero Trust platform. In this way, DriveLock is offering comprehensive protection against today’s cyber-security challenges. The company has also implemented a variety of requests and enhancements suggested by customers in order to make the new version even more user-friendly.
“When developing this new update, it was important to us to build on our existing experience and achievements,” says Anton Kreuzer, CEO of DriveLock. “We’re continuing to evolve our solution to ensure it’s always a step ahead of the cyber-criminals. Alongside the extensions to our preventive protection measures, the additions to our Advanced Threat Protection take us a significant step nearer to integral cyber-security. Our customers are able to detect attacks early and easily, enabling them to initiate the relevant measures quickly.”
Events from other providers can now be collected via the DriveLock agent and analysed or combined to detect attacks. Predefined logics, such as our EDR rules based on the MITER ATT&CK® framework, can now be easily imported and exported. Detecting attacks with DriveLock has never been easier. Over 100 predefined rules are shipped with this release.
Different rule types have been combined, which not only leads to far clearer rule management, but also allows completely new combination options.
The DriveLock Operations Center offers some new and numerous revised views, reports and management functions. Predefined list views quickly show all relevant information. New search and filter options offer additional flexibility.
Further, implemented customer requests and detailed improvements in the areas of Microsoft Defender integration and BitLocker Management, as well as a simplification of the policy configuration for exceptions, optimise functionality and administration, reduce costs and increase security.
