Configurating the DriveLock Agent

The general appearance of the agent is defined in the agent's configuration. Besides operating menu entries, this also controls the taskbar icon, as well as a number of basic settings.

  • Agent remote control only via HTTPS

  • Save file / transmission of events

  • Start DriveLock in safe mode as well

  • Automatically updating the agent

  • Taskbar am Agent (Tray-Icon, Pup-Up Fenster)

  • Offline sharing on Agent (PW: DriveLock1)

  • Agent user interface

  • Prohibit network profile management on the agent

  • Automatically collect inventory data

  • Setting up a self-service sharing group

  • Different intervals for agent / server communication

Note: These settings should not be changed during initial testing of DriveLock. The configuration is assigned to each test device as part of the agent installation. Settings from this base configuration may be invalidated by the specific use cases.

If you want to temporarily remove DriveLock's control, you can use the DriveLock Self service to temporarily disable the computer's protection.

This is both possible via the Start menu as well as via the taskbar. Select the module you want to share and click Next.
